A Dayflash Re-Branding
About DayflashDayflash is a new upcoming social media app, fully focused on photography content of young photographers. It is a fast growing platform known for their full-size view of the content presented by the photographing artists.
ProblemDayflash is currently facing a lack of a good user experience by forcing the user to click to often to for example uploading and creating content on the page. Adding information to the uploaded content and by missing a concept for membership area.
Learning & ResultAfter a deep user experience analyzing by following the complete user journey and analyzing the clicks needed to use Dayflash's offered features for the user. Do I come up with the idea to design the app in a way that it looks and feels like a look book or digital magazine. The upload of content where simplified and shrinked down by half clicks to get a better user journey. The tricky but unique experience of an full-size content view wasn't an easy task, because creator and often the viewer of the content wants to see data like comments and likes to get enhanced to use the app more frequently as well as following a creator.
