Many people facing the problem by getting less engagement using the Lieferando App, they either stopp using it or switching to the desktop version to other their food. The reason is a lack of inconsistency and inefficiency of the user experience experience and journey.
After a user research by asking users on how they feel about their user journey and experience, was the solution to simplifying the experience and adding room between the elements to get a better user journey. Like by using the full potential of the bottom bar with icons which the user can reach easily. Moving the search button inside the restaurant details page to another place to avoid clicking it by accident when the user switches between the food categories.
User journeys and the overall experience is important to avoid user stopping to use the app. The research and creation of the re-designed open up the eyes even more on how important it is for an application to have a solid user experience to get engagement and drive sales.
